RESOLUTION 2024-5

AN AMENDMENT TO RESOLUTION 2014-1 OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF LETTERKENNY TOWNSHIP, FRANKLIN COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, AMENDING THE RIGHT-TO-KNOW POLICY DEVELOPED BY THE TOWNSHIP, CONSISTENT WITH ACT 3 OF 2008.

WHEREAS, the Right-to-Know Law, Act 3 of 2008, was enacted on January 1, 2009, replacing Pennsylvania’s previous Right-to-Know Law, Act 212 of 1957; and,

WHEREAS, Letterkenny Township has developed its own Right-to-Know Policy, enacted on May 27, 2014, consistent with the Right-to-Know Law, Act 3 of 2008; and,

WHEREAS, Letterkenny Township has amended its Right-to Know Policy to include additional information;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of Letterkenny Township, Franklin County, Pennsylvania, that it intends to follow the amended Right-to-Know Policy established by the Township, consistent with the Right-to-Know Law, Act 3 of 2008.

RESOLVED AND ENACTED this 27th day of August, 2024, by the Letterkenny Township Board of Supervisors.
